AU/AUView

Hi,

I've recently started work on some AU code, and I have a ton of questions, since I cannot seem to find any "real" documentation anywhere (all I can find is a list of constants and functions, but no info about how these things related to each other etc.).

Anyway, my first question is this:

My AU and AUView is created nicely, but... In my AUView I need to access a pointer which has been created in the main AU class (this is because this is actually a wrapper, which is loading a bundle with the real code).

I managed to do it, but the way it's done is so big a hack that I just have to try to find another solution (what I did was to create an extra parameter which holds the pointer, and which is then read by the AUView).

Anyway, to cut a long story short: How do I transfer 4 bytes of information from the main AU class to the AUView?

Thanks,

Michael Olsen
