Not as such - it has been requested often, and we're in the process
of getting something out.
Are we guaranteed that AUMixer is installed on all Macs with a
certain vintage of OS X (for example, 10.3 or later)?
Yes - the stereo mixer has been there since 10.0 (as a V1), and 10.2
when we introduced the V2 AU API
