Yes, you need that Rez setting.

I might fall foul of this one, the readme implies that the resource problem has been fixed in the SDK, but later mentions the REZ define. I noticed that the demo filter project has this extra line: "-d ppc_$ppc -d i386_$i386 -I..." do we need this as well?

Did you read the 1.4.3 update notes in /Developer/Examples/ CoreAudio/ ReadMe.rtf and follow those instructions for UB AUs? That's all that I can think might be going wrong...

I'm having a problem where our AUs aren't being recognized/ loaded by hosts on Intel Macs. I've set the compiler to compile with GCC4 with the Architectures flag set to ppc and i386. On PPC, the AUs pass validation and work great. When I move them over to an Intel Mac, hosts don't load them and AUVal gives the following:

Any ideas? I'm really not sure what would cause this behavior. I've also moved the projects over to the Intel Mac and tried to recompile them in XCode there...still have the same problem.

Thanks
Mike
