Adam,
Have you tried to set a Custom Executable in Xcode?
By setting a Breakpoint in your plugin, you should be able to debug
Digital Performer, symbol stripped or not.

I'm probably missing something obvious, but does anyone know how to
get
Xcode's debugger to play nicely with Digital Performer 5.11? I'm
trying to
figure out why my latest AU's view won't display properly in DP
(and only in
DP) and I can't seem to get Xcode 2.2.1 to either launch DP as the
debugging
executable, or attach to DP's process. If I set the executable path to
Digital Performer 5.11.app, Xcode tells me "No launchable
executable present
at path." If I set the path to the Digital Performer executable
inside the
bundle, the debugger emits a message on its log saying "Executable
path is
nil!".
Has anyone else run into this, and figured out how to resolve it?
Thanks in
advance for any suggestions. We were just about to go into final
beta with
this product when we discovered that it won't run in DP.
