Hi Bill,
Thanks -- that's a good start.
So can I do the whole lot with an MM somehow, or must I use a 1 x
Nchannel bus to N x Nchannel busses duplication followed by N x
AUConverters with channel maps to go from Nchannels to 1channel?
Cheers,
Daniel

The Splitter and Merger AUs do this by internally using a Matrix Mixer
AU - you could easily do this by using a MM

Hi List,
I'm trying to work out the best way (using audio units) to split a
multi-channel bus to multiple mono buses, e.g. a stereo bus to two
mono buses, etc.
I can see that channel maps can accomplish the channel routing bus
how to efficient increase the number of buses? Can I do all of this
with a single AUConverter or do I need to chain one AUSplitter and
then an AUConverter per output bus?
Thanks!
Daniel
