I certainly agree, of course, I believe the set of people needing that much memory is probably a bit lower than those that do. Mostly, it's people with huge sampled orchestral plugins that want to load up huge sets of samples into an instrument (like into Mach-5) and bought more memory thinking it wouldn't be a problem.
I read that 10.4 GUI applications are limited to 32-bit address spaces, only console only applications can be written for 64-bit.
Given that I believe the new Intel processors are 32-bit, is there a plan to go to 64-bit? I don't think I've heard it discussed yet.
