AU mixing console

Im asking this of the list before I decide whether or not I need to code it. If this is the wrong forum for this please advise and accept my apologies.

I need an AU mixing console that will create a channel strip for any application I open that have a volume control in it. For example: if i have iTunes open I would like AU to automatically create a channel strip for it. If i then open FCP, DVD Player or several QT movies also, an associated channel strip for each would be added to my AU console. I could save the console and the next time i open the application it would connect to its associated channel strip. I other words, I want a AU mixing console to control all of my open applications that have an audio send from it. I can then use this as a global volume control interface for the computer.

Is there anything out there that does this before I start coding?

Thank you in advance.

Ron
