I am using this Firewire-based audio processor.

By default it seems to be combining all 8 audio inputs into a single audio
input device in Core Audio.

HALLAB says that the inputs are not controllable (i.e. No mute or volume
control).

Is there anyway to 'turn off' all the inputs except for one? I tried to
change the preferred stereo pairs on the input, but that had no effect.

Apologies if this is obvious, I'm still learning...

Mike
