Hi Stefan-

I have been working on a surround plug-in for the past 9 months now, and I had this question a while ago. Do you know about the trick overwriting the ProcessBufferList? After you do that, NxM processing is possible; however, I don't believe Logic supports this from an Effect type. I think on down the line, the AU guys are going to try to make a Panner type, but in the meantime, DP is all that I've had luck with.

Hi,

Is it the same that is described here?
http://cgi.cse.unsw.edu.au/~nickm/? Information:Developing_Audio_Units:Multi-channel_AUs

I managed to create an NxM audio unit that way, which also passed auval - but I was unable to open any multi-channel-output effect in logic.
Is there any document available that describes what Logic is capable of or what specifications an audio unit is required in order to work in logic?

greets
Stefan
