AU MusicDevice handling MIDI

hello,

I'm writing an music device, and I'd like to receive my MIDI messages more than one at a time. I see that AUMIDIBase has a method HandleMIDIPacketList. is there anyway to get this called instead of HandleMIDIEvent? thanks a lot.
