Hi Stefan,

I was just wondering, because I encountered some issues concerning Cocoa UIs in Logic.
As far as I know Logic is a Carbon application, which might be the cause for my issues - but this is just some kind of guess.
You are correct, Logic is a Carbon app and thus needs to create a "foreign" Cocoa window to host a Cocoa AU view, which is
then glued to the Carbon window containing the plug-in header etc. This glue isn't perfect and sometimes glitches, resulting
in issues similar to the ones you describe.
We are working on improving this for a future version of Logic.

The issues are:
- when moving the plug-in window the view turn white for a short moment when clicking on it.
- keyboard shortcuts don't work correctly when the view is the windows which is in foreground. (when view is the item on that was clicked last)
- In some cases when the view is in background it turns white until it is put in foreground again.
As using Cocoa was the one that was recommended here, I was wondering if this is a common problem when using Logic, or is there a solution to my problems?
I would suggest that you compare your views against the views of the Apple AUs that have a Cocoa UI, for example
the AUFilePlayer. If an issue is reproducable the same way with the Apple AUs, then you shouldn't worry.

Best, (another) Stefan
