Properties displayed in UI

  • Subject: Properties displayed in UI

I noticed that in AU Lab, Apple's Matrix reverb shows render quality as the only property, but in my app, the UI shows render quality and the current factory preset, which is sometimes blank, such as when I save and restore the class info. So my two questions are: 1) how do I suppress the display for something that I'm going to provide my own UI for, as AU lab does with factory preset, and 2) is it a sign that my app is doing something wrong that sometimes the factory preset box is blank.

I've been through what I believe is the entire relevant section of the Audio Unit docs, and I don't see anything about this, but maybe I'm missing something, or maybe AU Lab has some undocumented powers.

Many thanks,

	bjorn
