AU CocoaView stealing key commands in Logic

Hi,
this weekend I finished my first plug featuring a custom UI. I chose Cocoa for this because I was already familiar with it and have nearly no clue about Carbon yet.
It works fine but there is a problem with key commands in Logic. When my plug-in has focus it "steals" key commands, they are not forwarded to Logic. I tested it in GarageBand and there it works fine.
I did some research in this list's archive and found out, that there can be problems with CocoaViews because Logic has to adopt the Cocoa stuff to its Carbon layer. Although I fear there will be no cure for this I want to ask if there's any workaround to correctly forward key commands to logic.

Greets,
Christian
