In OS X 10.4.11 ExtAudioFileOpen now seems to work and does not
return -6 anymore.
However, the other, more serious issue (it caused a crash), is still
there.
Which makes me wonder whether it's going to be solved, since Apple
lumped both bug reports into one issue, bug 5192100. And since I
didn't initiate that bug, I cannot easily see its status anymore.
Really wish, Apple improved their bug tracking system a little, so
that developers aren't left in the dark - at least when it comes to
status of bugs.
