Hi Andrew,
There are a few places to look.
First, I suggest the New & Updated list here, which we just made
public today:
<http://developer.apple.com/referencelibrary/MusicAudio/>
There you'll see links to new docs on Audio Queue Services and Audio
File Stream Services. The Core Audio Glossary is also updated with
Leopard-specific terms.
We've also updated the Getting Started with Audio document:
<http://developer.apple.com/referencelibrary/GettingStarted/GS_MusicAudio/
>
...as well as our Audio Overview:
<http://developer.apple.com/audio/overview.html>
(Because of a server glitch, the overview is not yet updated as I
write this... but will probably be by the time you click the link. You
can tell by the date at the bottom of the web page.)
There's a summary of what's new and changed here -- and apologies for
the very long URL, but it gets you to the correct section:
<http://developer.apple.com/releasenotes/MacOSX/WhatsNewInOSX/Articles/MacOSX10_5.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40004696-DontLinkElementID_13

The Core Audio presentations from WWDC this year are good:
<https://deimos.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/BrowsePrivately/adc.apple.com.1328896386
>
(After clicking that link and then logging in to your ADC account
using Safari, in iTunes click the Graphics and Imaging link. The
sessions are #402 and #404. You can get the movie, the slides, or both.)
In particular, session 404 talks about what's new in OpenAL.

Can anyone point me to where the changes for core audio and especially
to openal for 10.5 are listed or discussed?
