I've been playng with this, and I've concluded it isn't ready for prime time. There are some bugs (duly reported), and although it makes a dandy running display, there's not much we can do with it. You get status changed messages, things like clock started, stopped etc, but can't register callbacks based on times. It's reminiscent of the old OMS timer functions that could be used to sync different applications, but each CAClock seems to be independent. It won't talk to MusicPlayer in any useful way, so you may as well spend your time working on routines to read the incoming time code directly.

I need to work on some SMPTE sync stuff and
could really use the example code that you had mentioned to understand
how the Core Audio Clock calls work. The documentation and the header
file don't really explain anything... :-(



I think the immediate answer is no, we don't have anything.
