SetParameter

Hi,

This seems like such a simple question, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

My AUs don't seem to be properly connected up with their parameters.  If, in Logic, I "save preset", when I load it back in it doesn't restore the settings correctly.  When I open my AU in Ableton Live, and I open up their in-built parameter control interface, I can correctly change parameters with the Live interface, and it updates the gui and audio in response, but then if I use my gui to change a parameter, it doesn't feed-back into a change in the Live interface as it should.

I presume that somewhere I'm doing something wrong in the way I'm calling SetParameter.  That's how I notify the host that I've changed a parameter right?  I'm logging out my calls to SetParameter(UInt32, Float32), and it appears to be caling it as I adjust the parameter with my gui, with the correct values.

Is this something other people have experienced at all?  Am I doing something obviously wrong?  Is there some other way that I should notify the host that I've changed a parameter?  I'm sure its just a silly mistake, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks for any help.

Paul
