Hello
Sorry to disturb you but I need an advice from you, if I post this
question to the different suppliers involved I will never have a
solution :)
The problem :
- I load Logic Studio 8 and I use IAC to "play" on Kontakt 2 (K2)
standalone and VSL Vienna Ensemble 2 (VE 2)
- I load Kontakt 2 (K2) standalone, I load my default K2's setup no
problem K2 is playing ok to out 25,26,27,28 of my Motu system (24i
+2408mkII+1296+2408 mkIII)
- I load the VSL Vienna Ensemble 2 (VE 2), K2 wont play anymore to the
Motu's output (it is playing ok on the building line output)
Offloading VE 2 does not solve the problem, K2 is not been able to
use my Motu
To have K2 been able to play again I have to restart my MACPRO 8 core
3 ghz 13GB
Who is culprit ? VSL ? Native Instrument ? Motu ? Core audio ?
What do they have to change in there program to share the same input/
output device ?
As Logic is been able to share audio devices with VE 2 or K2, I
suppose that VE and K2 should be able to share the same audio device
