Easiest way to open & create new AIFF?

Hi,

Very new to coreaudio and I'm trying to update some older code that's been put on my plate.
I need to replace 'ParseAIFFHeader', 'SetupAIFFHeader' and 'SoundComponentData'.

Looks like 'ExtAudioFileOpen', 'ExtAudioFileCreateNew' and 'AudioStreamBasicDescription' is
perhaps easiest way. Searching for 'ExtAudioFileOpen' in sample code yields no results.

Is there a better way? Am I missing something?

Phil
