Can anyone point me to a program which generates a simple waveform (like a sinewave) and plays it using current audio queue technology?

Look in:

/Developer/Examples/CoreAudio/SimpleSDK/DefaultOutputUnit

That's not w/ AudioQueue... Roland, i have a sinewave audioqueue example here: http://variogr.am/latest/?p=25 -- note it was written for the iphone but it should compile on Leopard as well. actual zip is at http://variogram.com/latest/iPhone_Sinewave_2.zip
