Apple's official discussions forum on Apple's own web site has been
carrying iPhone developer threads for many months. Have a look at any

At no time have the moderators stepped in to say these discussions are
inappropriate - in fact, there's been a separate thread on the pros
and cons of setting up a dedicated iPhone developer forum!
