AudioQueueStart - inStartTime param

  • Subject: AudioQueueStart - inStartTime param

I'm using the AudioQueueXxx APIs. I've been noodling around with AudioQueueStart, trying to set the starting point for playback to some arbitrary point in the file. Simply setting the mSampleTime field and mFlags = kAudioTimeStampSampleTimeValid does not seem to be enough. I have also tried various combinations of setting the current packet in the AudioFileReadPackets call, priming the queue, etc. Without listing all the combinations I've tried, suffice it to say that I have failed miserably to get a good result. So, does anyone know the proper incantation to get this working?

Thanks very much for any help or suggestions.

-Craig
