iPhone Core Audio and !dev error

  • Subject: iPhone Core Audio and !dev error

Hello I am working on code using the iPhone SDK and Core Audio. The
following code

 status = AudioHardwareGetProperty(
 kAudioHardwarePropertyDefaultOutputDevice, &theSize, &outputDevID );

causes a kAudioHardwareBadDeviceError error on the Aspen Simulator,
but works on Mac OS X. Is there a different value I need to use on
iPhone, or is this a problem in the Aspen Simulator but not on the
iPhone's hardware?
