I am using the code from Technical Q&A 1578 to play the audio contents of a QTMovie out a specific device. The device I am using is an aggregate (it's a 2 channel aggregate of the built-in output device). The audio will not play out the device (i.e. the player is progressing through the movie, but no audio is hear) until I start iTunes and play something from there. After a couple seconds I hear both the iTunes audio and the movie audio.


Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
