Hi CoreAudio List,
I have a pretty simple tree with the following elements:
kAudioUnitType_MusicDevice kAudioUnitSubType_DLSSynth (kMusicDeviceProperty_UsesInternalReverb at 1 ) (kMusicDeviceParam_ReverbVolume at -40.0)
kAudioUnitType_Effect kAudioUnitSubType_DynamicsProcessor
kAudioUnitType_Output kAudioUnitSubType_DefaultOutput
I am setting kAudioUnitProperty_RenderQuality to 127 on all of the AudioUnits.
When I play chords, there is a LOT of noise in them. I don't hear this when I play the same chords in the DLS Synth in Logic.
If I set kMusicDeviceProperty_UsesInternalReverb to 0, I can barely hear the notes...
