We've had this working in AULab for quite a while now, and the document we've provided in the examples covers all of the code we believe has to be done to do this successfully.

Do you have any specific issue you are concerned about?
Do you have any specific problem in AULab that we need to look at?
Logic 8 is also using this, and I think that is generally working well.

Hello,

I'd really like to know if someone had success using HICocoaView to wrap a custom AU Cocoa Views for host like Ableton Live, etc... (providing Composited Carbon Windows only). I am running into the same kind of issues a previous poster experienced, and I start wondering if it can be achieved at all. Carbon vs Cocoa feels a bit like the good old Composited/Non-Composited window issue. Is there any solution that doesn't involve mainting the GUI code two times, at least in 10.5 (other than supporting only one kind of user interface)?

Best regards,

Franck
