1 Audio Unit to 2 output buses

Is it possible to take an audio unit and split its output to 2 buses.

I would like to take the stereo input to an audio converter and send it to 2 mono output buses, is this possible ?

I've been trying to look at AudioChannelLayouts but I don't know if I am barking up the wrong tree.
