I've created a virtual output port (an output FROM the clock utility), and it's a port I've confirmed mechanically works (with other inputs - I'm using MIDIReceived(), etc). Adding it to the list of MIDI endpoints for sending MIDI clock doesn't seem to return an error and doesn't begin sending clock pulses.

Is there any word on this?

Unfortunately the clock doesn't know how to send "to" virtual sources, even though it's a very minor hoop to jump through in the implementation.


You could try using the IAC driver.
