Hi folks.
I've been having some problems with MIDI input to Logic Pro getting
"wedged" (usually as a result of me using MIDI reset either in Kore2
as a Logic plugin, or in Logic itself ... at least some of them seem
to happen when I do that).
It was especially bad yesterday evening and, digging around in the
CrashReporter logs today, I see I have a bunch of MIDIServer crash
logs.
I've opened a radar (#6833428) under the "Pro apps" category since
Logic seems to be involved. I attached the crash logs and system
profile.
Is there anything else I should do by way of reporting these issues?
Thanks for the reports. Two of the Logic crashes are in Kore (not
surprising considering what you describe). The third appears to be in
Logic's ReWire support, while quitting the app.
The MIDIServer crashes are interesting; I've never seen crashes in
this area. It's in the area of delivering output which was sent for
future delivery. Does the problem seem to happen only when using
certain "senders"? Not sure that Logic would exercise this code path
on its own; does Kore send MIDI?
