We're (mainly) talking about hosts that do not support Cocoa UIs. On
hosts that do, everything is fine. In AULab, you can choose which UI
to use and the Cocoa-over-Carbon-window UI approach does not work
correctly, because AULab does some strange things to Carbon windows. I
will ask Stephan if he can share the NorthPole version with this list
if you're interested to see for yourself.
Unfortunately, many hosts that support both Cocoa and Carbon UIs still
prefer the Carbon UI (such as AudioHijack), so it is important to have
an UI going in both cases.
