Quite the opposite. My impression is that there are no AU hosts
which require 10.5, and most people in the music industry get much
more reliable performance from 10.4 (although that might be more
prevalent on PowerPC).
I can say for a fact that Logic 8 does not require 10.5
I believe we're still a long way from having everyone in the music
industry buy new computer hardware, buy a new operating system, and
buy the latest upgrades to all of their software. Support for 10.4
seems to be a requirement still.
