What's wrong with using the CocoaAUHost example? You said you've
reviewed them all and they don't work - now I know for a fact that
this particular example works great because I've used it.

So Instead of wasting time and energy into creating something based on
the outdated Carbon API I'd say you should look at this example
instead.
