Hi all.
really strange but the problem doesn`t exist anymore. I have really no idea why. New years luck? I don`t know...
But to answer your questions...
4294956418 was the return value...semms like some max_value to me ?! Not sure about that.
And the cocoa view got only destroey if I unload the whole plugin, not if I close the editor window.
Of course I am happy, the bug is gone, but feels strange, not to know what happend.

Is this a Cocoa view AU? Does the AU view get destroyed when you close
