Here is another thing I noticed about the 2.0.1 Apple Loops utility. It deletes all other AIFF chunks that it finds. I put in a file that had 3 user defined chunks, and the new utility deleted them all. Now the AIFF spec states that programs should preserve chunks whether or not the program need/uses them. Why does the Apple Loops Utility do this? I found v2.0.1 apart from the SDK. It was in the Logic Studio Installer. Is 2.0.1 canonical?

Patrick
