I love the bug reporter, it has a build-in self-reference :-) Each
time I try to report something, it presents this error message:
"An error has occurred. Please report the error to Apple Inc.
by emailing the error detail to email@hidden."
Then, to prove that it's really broken, it presents me a link
"For more details on the error, click this link: Error Detail"
and clicking "Error Detail" does just nothing...
It's an absolutely flawless example of buggy code and it also knows
how to preserve its state of buggyness because I can't report it to
itself :-)
No offense meant, I'm just joking. I'll go mailing to
email@hidden now.

So obviously I can't do my pitch control (on desktop by the way)

from what I

beginners due
to the lack of documentation...
If you don't think there's enough documentation (I agree with you, by
the way... there's a ton of sample code and stuff but relatively no
technical publications) file a bug at bugreport.apple.com saying so.
They'll only know you want more docs if you tell them :)

That blog is immensely helpful. It's been on my Bookmarks bar for a
few weeks now because it's just that useful.
Final question: since CA documentation is so sparse, wouldn't it be
a good
idea to create a common place where the blog/forum/mailing list
knowledge is
bundled? I'm thinking something simple like del.icio.us or a thread
"Core
Audio for beginners" in this list. Or are there legal (or other)
issues with
that? I couldn't find anything of that kind yet. And I'm new to
this list so
I don't really dare to do it myself here :-).
There's a wiki at http://www.cocoadev.com which would be perfect for
compiling information on CA, considering that's the kind of thing it's
designed for :)
