1. New project from template "Audio Unit Effect"

2. build succeeded no errors

3. copy "testing.component" to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/

4. issue "auval -a" from terminal

5. scan liist, observe entry "aufx Pass Demo - __MyCompanyName__: testing"

6. issue "auval -v aufx Pass Demo"

7. observe log spew of successful run

Sorry, Aristotel, I couldn't reproduce your bug.
