More information on this in case anyone is interested. Just received
extremely frustrating and highly disappointing news from Alesis that
full-duplex audio is not supported on the Pro Track.
iProRecorder is probably just changing the audio category between
MediaPlayback and RecordAudio on the fly (since they don't support
recording and playback simultaneously), and not even using the
PlayAndRecord category at all.
