Audio File Services won't open some SDII files

Hi,

I know this is a bit unspecific, but I'm a little helpless with this: Some SDII files can't be opened with the 'AudioFileOpenURL' API. I get a 'kAudioFileUnsupportedDataFormatError'. Using the 'kAudioFileSoundDesigner2Type' as a hint didn't help. I couldn't figure out how these files are different from other SDII files that work fine. Strangely, Quicktime API *does* open these files! So does the Quicktime Player, of course.

My guess is, that SDII is just too old-fashioned to be still fully supported. So if anyone knows anything about typical CoreAudio SDII issues, I'd be glad to get some insights.

Thanks,
Sebastian
