Hi everyone:
I haven been searching for AU validation on snow leopard for a while
but no lucky. There is lots of thread talking about which AU could
pass the validation and which could but none of them tells the reason
behind this. I know that snow leopard start to support 64 bit
processing but I believe It won't just ignore all the 32bits audio
plug-in.
I have my audio unit plug-in working very fine in 10.5.7 and but
sometimes missing on the snow leopard. It is not always missing on
snow leopard, but depends on machines to machines. It would be gone
missing without any warning when open the garageband.
I am thinking rebuilt my plug-in however I don't know where it needs
to be changed. Does anyone has an idea of what reason that prevents
the snow leopard validating the AU time to time or snow leopard using
a different default folder for placing the 3rd party audio unit? If I
need to re-write my plug-in, what code really needs to be changed?
Thank you very much
Tony
