Never mind... turned out that I needed to open the AU Manager and force a rescan of the plug-in, otherwise Logic wouldn't realize there's a sidechain input.

Hi, it's probably just me who's stupid, but... I added side-chain capability to an effect, and first step was to check that the host recognises the extra inputs... which it doesn't. All I do is actually to call Inputs().SetNrOfElements(2) in my constructor. As I understand it, that should create an extra bus, which the host should see as a side-chain. Is this correct? (Obviously I'll need to deal with the data also, but 1 step at a time...). I use Logic 9 for testing. Either adding side-chain is really complicated (meaning I cannot see how to do it), or else Logic simply doesn't recognize the extra input. Any thoughts? Thanks, Michael Olsen
