Invoking the callback manually can be useful for reusing code between filling/enqueuing the first buffer(s) and refilling buffers when they are complete

Sorry for hijacking the thread....

Are you saying you would invoke the callback from in the callback? Can you explain a little bit more. In most cases you would not do this, right?
