Hi Bryan,
You're correct about the MixerHost sample being used in one of the WWDC talks and also referenced from Audio Unit Hosting Guide. At the conference, that sample was demo-able but not finished. It is now finished and going through our publication process. I don't know exactly when it will be in the Dev Center but I'm hoping by mid-August. At the same time, the IOHost sample will be moved to the Dev Center as well, and Audio Unit Hosting Guide will get an update.
