kAudioQueueProperty_CurrentLevelMeter broken in Mac OS 10.6.7?

Hello CoreAudio,

I've been querying kAudioQueueProperty_CurrentLevelMeter on an active AudioQueue on MacOS, and its been working great. However now that I'm running OS 10.6.7, I now always get zeros as a result.

Seems I'm not the only one:

Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround?

Steve
