Hi Artemiy,
tnx for your info, again.
But my problem is, 3.2.6 will not start using my project. I will get the
error message, I described as I wrote the first time to this topic.
If I start this project using the finder I get this message.
But if I start xcode using "recent projects", it works (sometime at
first, sometimes at second time)!?
And sometimes when I close xcode, a system message appears, that the
program had finished unexpected.
I think, this version is still a little unstable, but fortunately I now
can go on with my project :-)
best,
Udo
Udo, here is what I did:
1. Open XCode 3.1.4 project with XCode 3.2.6
2. Select AUPublic in the sources list, click on inspector icon, locate this folder in /Developer/Extras
3. Now in the inspector target tab, check the mark for your AU component
4. Now in the main XCode window you must uncheck the build mark on the file AUResources.r
5. For PublicUtility in the sources list, click on inspector icon, locate this folder in /Developer/Extras
6. Now in the inspector target tab, check the mark for your AU component
This did it for me, relocate the folders, checkmark them for both targets and then un-checkmark AUResources.r.

I installed 3.1.4 again, but although I changed the paths to the xcode 3.1.4 folder (with "Edit Project Settings"), build was not possible.
Maybe I didn't find the right place to change all the recommended paths, because the framework files were still coloured in red.
So I installed 3.1.4, then 3.2.6 and then reinstalled 3.1.4, but now build with 3.1.4 is not possible.
Any hints?
best,
Udo
Udo, I installed XCode 3.1.4 again after installing XCode 3.2.6, 3.1.4 installs in a different location.
You can try this, worked for me and I can build my plugins without any problems. 3.2.6 can also build plugins, but only those that you start from fresh within this version.
BTW XCode 3.2.x doesn't seem to support PowerPC anymore?

Anyway, trying to build a 3.1.4 project AU with 3.2.6 doesn't work no matter what I try.
OK, here a project built with 3.1.4 leads to the following error-message, trying to open with 3.2.6 (after atomatic update/download/install):
Couldn’t open “/Users/udo/Desktop/DevelopStuff/myProj.xcodeproj”.
Reason: -[NSCFString groupTreeDisplayName]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x2006488e0.
It seems, 3.1.4 is still installed (it's possible to choose it by "open with ..."), but build does not work in this version.
Any idea?
best,
Udo
