MusicPlayerStart error in Lion

Hi,

	I'm getting a -10852 (invalidPlayerState) error when my MIDI app calls MusicPlayerStart under Lion. The same code has worked unchanged under all previous systems back to 10.4 or so. Can anyone shed light on where I might look to fix the error?
