Latencies are supposed to change from stream to stream, in
particular depending of Analog/Digital status:
But reading the stream latencies for : MacBook Pro (analog only),
Mac Pro (analog/digital), Motu 828 Mk2 (analog/digital), I get 0
for all streams....
There are certainly examples of drivers which do not report an
accurate latency. However, your code should always read the stream
latencies and add them in, even if you can only find "0" for the
interfaces you have tested so far.
The original question is still valid, I just wanted to make sure that
all the available numbers were being included in the calculations.
What would be great is if someone with detailed knowledge of any
particular device could verify that the latencies are reported
properly and that they correspond to the measured latency.
