Support for non-mixable integer streams in Lion?

Hi Folks,

We recently implemented support for non-mixable integer streams in our driver. It works fine in Leopard and Snow Leopard. We were recently contacted by a customer who was trying to use Integer mode in Lion and was unable to get it to work.

We have checked on Lion, and while our driver publishes non-mixable stream formats, and we can see the non-mixable formats via IORegistryExplorer, HALLab does not see the non-mixable stream format as an option, even when HAL Lab has taken hog mode on the device. The client programs that have been written to use the non-mixable streams don't see the non-mixable format either.

Is this no longer supported in Lion? Is this a regression? Should I file a radar about this?

Best regards,

B.J. Buchalter
