We have an iTunes music issue we have been unable to resolve:
We need to slow down the tempo of iTunes songs without changing the pitch.
We now do this with .WAV files and MPEG files. But not with iTunes music.
Ideally, we'd like to audio process on the iPad itself to slow down the song without changing the pitch.
Or, pre-process off-line to create a file with altered tempo.
Ideally, we'd like to do it in real time by accessing the actual bit data of the songs.
We have been unable to find info about the encoding and tools for accessing iTunes song files.
Our guess is that the encoding of the iTunes music files may be part of the security that secures these files from rip artists.
So, bottom line: How to access the bit-data in iTunes files? (to enable us to change the songs' tempo but not in pitch)
Any thoughts on that?
Thanks.
