Hi Stefan,

AUVal does not open the plug-in GUI, and one of the tests I'd like to serially perform is whether GUI opens without a crash or other problems (our plug-ins have many assertions for validations such as this).

Auval only validates AU plug ins, it doesn't allow sound processing
with them which was what the OP asked for.
