Enumerating variants of Audio Units

I'm trying to reconcile what I see between two hosts' lists of available instrument audio units.

In one host, Kontakt 4 is available in several variants (mono, stereo, quad, 5.1......) with varying numbers of audio outputs published.

In my host, I find Kontakt 4, but I don't know how to enumerate the variants. When I create an instance, I just end up with Kontakt 4 with a single stereo pair of outputs.

Given that the K4 is constructed to be a multi-timbral with an internal mixer, I'm not clear on how I'm missing finding the alternative versions of this instrument when I list them with the component manager calls.

What am I missing here wrt to the variant versions? How do I find them?
